Dementia Care

Footprint is used within telecare to provide reassurance and safety whilst allowing your client independence and freedom. Although it is a mobile phone its additional features such as geo-fencing and fall alerts mean that it can be used for many client’s needs. GPS/GPRS tracking allows for instant location in case of emergency such as a person living with dementia who has wandered. Footprint can also be used by first responders as a lone working location device.

Hospital Discharge

OwnFone Mobile is being used effectively as a way of discharging patients from hospital. Without the need for landlines or expensive GSM units, patients are provided with an OwnFone Mobile in their discharge package. The handset is connected to the local telecare provider.

Vulnerable Adults

OwnFone is a cost effective, secure and reliable way of providing remote care which operates almost anywhere. The device is pre-programmed to your Alarm Receiving Centre and cannot be altered. A simple press of the call button connects your client to you immediately.  Unlike traditional pendant alarms, the OwnFone allows the user freedom and independence outside the home, whilst still providing care if needed. The handsets are individually customised so are less stigmatising for the user.
